Since half of the OpenID equation is the convenience of single-signin, having to type that many characters will put many people off who don't necessarily care about the security aspects of OpenID. I use black color to fix the holes. I've just been regreasing the focus thread. Mine has a 300th of a second shutter - Compur - with an Apotar 8.5cm lens. One problem with these old cameras was the red windows in the back tended to let light in, and the bellows can crack. You will definitely need an exposure meter to get the good shots.
